The Hope Glows 5K is a fundraising event for the Bay County Relay for Life.
The Hope Glows 5K Run/Walk is a fun, exciting, family event that take place on a Friday night at Veteran's Park in Bay City. You enjoy the beautiful park as you run/walk as a glowing blur along the river. Winding through the park on the sidewalks and down JFK Drive, this run/walk is a sure to be the highlight of your summer. The proceeds from the event are donated to the Bay County Relay for Life.
The race is a timed race, thanks to Miller Race Management. Each participant will receive a finishers medal at the completion of the track.
Strollers? Single-wide jogging strollers are welcome, we just ask that runners/walkers with strollers please be careful. This is a night race and there are some uneven areas of the sidewalks that you will want to be cautious of.
Pets? While this is a public park, we request that you please leave your furry friends at home. This is for the safety of the animals and the runners.
Refunds? We understand that circumstances change and you may not be able to participate in our event, but refunds will not be issued.
Awards? There will be awards for the overall first-place male and overall first-place female. So get your photo face ready!
Can't run/walk but still want to be a part of all the fun? We have many volunteer opportunities for the event. Please email us at email@example.com and we will be sure to involve you in the fun.
As the first-of-it's-kind event in Bay City started three years ago, we love the community support to help fund the research and programs of the American Cancer Society. For more information about The American Cancer Society or Relay for Life, please visit www.cancer.org.
Thank you for helping to make our event a success!
